Fall Bull Redfish Trips
These trips are offered October - November
Port O' Connor is home to the absolute BEST bull red fishing in the entire state. Each year these giant redfish stack up inshore and make it easy for us to target them using fresh cut bait or artificial lures.
These trips are fished in morning or afternoon. It is common to see 20 fish or more caught on a single trip. These fish run from 36" to 55" and weigh over 20lbs.
October and November is when we target these fish. Both bait casting and spinning tackle is used. When throwing artificial baits, we use side imaging sonar to locate the herds of fish & pinpoint their location so it makes it easy for you to cast into the herds for easy hookups.
These trips are family friendly and do not go into the gulf. Therefore, those who are prone to sea sickness should enjoy these trips as you will not be out in the big water.
